Link Wray was the seminal influence for rock guitarists, had a much
more eclectic sound and years earlier.

Dale deserves his due for his interesting sound, but compared to Wray,
he was strictly an amateur.

At times..........but when so he did magic with it......and working that
single note is what defined him.. :-)
