We get to use our diesel furnaces aboard our boats at least once in a while almost every month except (maybe) August. Summer starts in Seattle the first work day after any 4th of July holiday weekend. Boating up here is a 12-month proposition. Maybe that's because if we waited for the "perfect" summer day to go boating there are years we wouldn't get out at all. This winter has been pretty busy, and I've not been able to boat as much as I would like. I've only logged 60 engine hours since last November. How about you Harry? Been out in the Parker lately? Was not Seattle, but was close. Nice ride on the Victoria to Vancouver ferry last June. Warm, sunny. Rained later in the day in Vancouver, BC, but Victoria was warm and sunny. Would have liked to have my boat for a Gulf Island tour. Thinking of a Summer trip with the boat this year. Harry uses the "Lobsta Boat" in the winter. |
