Most have a connection so that a garden hose can be hooked to it to supply
cooling water. My yamaha uses a short adapter that is about 12" long and has the fitting to hook to the ski on one end and a garden hose connector on the other. It plugs in under the seat on mine. I would expect yours uses something similar. Unlike outboards and i/os you can run most jetskis for a couple minutes without water. They do not have rubber impeller pumps that can melt. But the engine is water cooled so you can not run it more than a minute or so without water. "ban449" wrote in message ups.com... I am new to Jet Skis and was wondering if there is a way to start and run the Kawasaki 900 STX out of the water. I recently aquired this machine and need to check it out. Thanks in advance. |
