If taken early enough, before major damage is done, I'm convinced
glucosamine works. While studies on humans have shown conflicting
results, glucosamine therapy has been used on pets, with much success, for
years. I've yet to see any studies showing pets understanding a placebo
effect. ;-)

Did't work for my Duke Dogge Dog.

One of my local vets is on the research team at
Tufts University (who rents part of our old farm
house) and he says it's virtually worthless.
