The Aux also carries a "homeland" card. My ex says they are actually
doing some real patrols in the DC area. They are jsut looking for
suspicious activities when there are events planned but they can radio
for a real unit.

this is true. our responsibilities are more like 'pickett' duties...we
receive training in what to look for in our AOR that is out of the
ordinary or suspicious. if we see something strange we pass it to the
gold side.
