"Grumman-581" they had a big Bayliner cruiser up on blocks with a huge hole in the side of it like a ship that's been hit by a cruise missile. Yeah, but it's one thing to punch a hole in a fiberglass boat, it's just another to do the same thing in a heavy steel plated barge... True...in which case you'd be operating a torpedo. There's a shipyard on the Willamette where they make double-hulled grain and hatchery barges. It's cool to see the cross-sections being built. There's not a fiberglass boat made that's going to punch through one of those. -c |
