Don, I think Chuck was inferring that Harry *had* a lobster boat,

not that
he *didn't* have one.

I replied...
I think I'd be willing to bet a 'toonie' on that one.
Me right...you wrong!

today, Chuck proved me right.

Don, I'd bet you a pocketfull of 'toonies' that Chuck would fly out here
and do a write up of the lobsta boat, if Harry could convince him that it
existed.

I know Harry's like a brother to you, and all, but...

Our sheriff is again stirring the pot..............and he wants a NG without
friction or confrontation.

Just another hypocrite.

I know... he's playin' me now.
More trouble than it's worth to collect my $2.00

JimH tells the truth always. If I were you I'd follow anywhere he leads.

I've heard several folks imply there's no exercise value in golf. If not,
then why am I tired after walking 18 holes?

It's just too bad is such a stupid game.

It's no more stupid than football, basketball, baseball, soccer, or any
other popular sport, except fishing, of course. And fishing's only good if
you can walk on water for the exercise. Only a few of us here can do so.

ROTFL!!!!!

That *wasn't* that funny. And, I'm one who has a sense of humor. He knows
I'm a new golfer, and he's simply saying things to ruin what little
motivation for the game I have left.

Sounds like you'll give it up soon. The only reason to golf is to
socialize, and fool yourself that you're getting good exercise.
You can socialize at the corner bar with a better class of people,
know with certainty you're not exercising, and get a buzz to boot.

If you wern't hitting that little ball all over the place, you'd reduce
your mileage by half.

I was joking about the exercise, and know it's better exercise than
plenty of other activities. Heck, OJ Simpson, probably the most
famous golfer in the world, is in pretty good shape for his age.
When my golfer pals mention a round I usually ask them if they ran
into OJ. Unless they're raving about how beautiful the course was.
Than I ask them if they had a problem getting the greens chemicals
off their shoes. So you can see I'm pretty neutral about golf.
Of course, I could just be jealous.
