I'm a new golfer, and he's simply saying things to ruin what little
motivation for the game I have left.

Sounds like you'll give it up soon. The only reason to golf is to
socialize, and fool yourself that you're getting good exercise.
You can socialize at the corner bar with a better class of people,
know with certainty you're not exercising, and get a buzz to boot.

I actually quite coffee quite a number of years ago. Unless you
consider a Coffee Coolata or coffee ice cream "coffee".

Some Mickey D are normally Decaf. Have to ask for the regular coffee.
Caffeine is a diuretic.

Twin Lakes, the Lake Side, out in Centreville. Beautiful course and few
leaf problems.
