But was wondering if anyone was coming up with any new theories on V-hulls to make production and/or cruising more efficient? George Micheal has been picked up for 'cruising' in public toilets....are these V-hulls OK for efficient toilet cruising? LOL! maybe the answer is in "Jewsweek" But then again, only Fred could answer that one. |

It must be hard for Fred to live in a country where there is only one newspaper and no internet to have a look at what other countries are reporting.....his trolling belongs in the toilet. Exactly. A local company I have done some work with are doing well building 'Super Yachts'. http://www.fitzroyyachts.com/profile.htm A bit out of many people price range, but if you have the cash, they would be 'recreational' to say the least. I must comment that their styling is an interesting study. Non-traditional as of to say, but really quite beautiful. http://www.fitzroyyachts.com/gallery.htm What do you do for Fitzroy? just curious. |

I was seconded to them from the company I work for, as a draughtsman, to draw up some pressure vessels.....nice simple stuff compared to what the yacht drafties had to draw up!.....all those curves..... I got to look over the 'Zulu' before it was launched. It made me feel like a third world peasant with all that luxury. ![]() I'll have to wait for my next life before I can hope to get into one of them!.......until then, it's recreational motorcycles..... |

That's like the story of Louis Chevrolet being a designer for GM's Buick Motor Division. He broke away from Buick and started making his own, with a quote. "Here I was, designing cars [Buick] that I myself couldn't afford." |
