Default I can't stop laughing...

I'm not sure I would discount Penn as being able to play that role. He
has developed an ability to portray different characters. I admire
that in an actor. Johnny Dep does that as well. They become someone
completely different. Many of the hollywood actors are simply
themselves in what ever they do. I used lump Jack Nicholson in the
later group until he did About Schmidt. Same with Nicholas Cage until
he did Adaptation. It was impressive what a loser Cage was able to
portray in that movie.

Penn, Depp, and Cage are three of the finest actors working in the movies
today. Johnny Depp is just fantastic.


I like Depp for his versatility, but one of the most amazingly versatile
young actors today is Matt Damon.

Unfortunately Cage's remake of wickerman stinks. I saw it in the
theater and I can say that I don't even recomend it as a rental.

Penn is indeed quite a talented actor, but not on par of the likes Tom Hanks
who is perhaps the best out there at this time.
