need to look within for the solution.

Anyway.......

Looks like the emergency work.........water extraction, carpet tear out and
floor cleanup/disinfectant job........will run around $5,000 alone seeing it
happened on a holiday. Then we have to replace the carpet and
trim....probably another $2,500.

Add to that the cost of the boat engine repair staring at me.........while
having 2 kids in college.

I bet that makes Reggie really happy.

recommendations about mold after water damage and that you may need to
replace your wallboard. This is someone who is going beyond just lip
service, but is concerned about you and your family's long term safety.
Black Mold can kill or cause severe health problems.

I then made a comment about my persona belief about Karma. I was
showing you compassion and understanding from my perspective. I do
believe in Karma, and I do try to look inward when everything in my
world seems to be going crazy. I would make that same suggestion to any
one in my family who was had a similar rash of "accidents". Reread my
comments and then read your response to my comment and ask yourself, is
it possible that Karma may impact our life..

would want to at least think about a concept that billions of people
strongly believe in.

If not, it is no big deal.

The other day I gave him some advice regarding his boat, albeit as a

There is something going on there, and I'm glad I'm not going through it.

the place. JimH definitely seems to have a black cloud following him.

would be looking at anything that would get rid of that black cloud.

Wouldn't it be great if Karma was real and all the really bad people
got what they deserved and the good people succeeded in what they
attempt to accomplish? I think all one needs to do is take a sober look
around at the evidence.

If this makes you feel better, 6 years ago within 3 months, my wife
left me (for her cousin's husband) she stole my kids out of state
(didn't see them from four months) I was rear-ended on the freeway and
broke my neck. I had seven operations and had to learn how to walk
again. In the meantime my business went under (now ex-wife embezzled
all the money) my house went into foreclosure and I was forced to
declare bankruptcy.

I had been (and am) an honest, God fearing, good husband who paid his
taxes. It wasn't Karma, however I learned a great deal about myself in
the process and like they say, "what doesn't kill you makes you
stronger."

Now I am remarried to a wonderful woman who values me, I retired from
the settlement I got from my injuries, I am in the process of buying
some acreage and a nice home to live in and I enjoy my BOAT. I see my
kids a couple of times a week (you know how the court system is, women
get the kids unless they are a crack whore and sometimes even then...)
and I pay a lot of child support but, oh well, you can't have
everything. I have learned to be content with what I have, realizing
that it could be a LOT worse.

what I said. I am amazed, but so be it. At this point, you will

I can tell from your post that you really didn't bother to read the one
page link discussing the different concepts of Karma or you would not be
using your simple analogy of bad **** happens to good people and some
bad people get away with murder.

As a side note, I would tell you that OJ's is not a happy camper, and if
