Since you insist Kevin: John claimed "I'm especially appreciative of you folks. Seventeen rec.boaters have donated a total of $825, for an average donation of $48.53. Remarkable!" Later another person from rec.boats donated another $450 to get him at his goal. That made $1,275 in rec.boats contributions. John donated $650. He did not triple any donations......he did not double any donations.....he did not match the rec. boats contributions, although at one point or another he claimed he would do so. Another lie. Jim. You received the confirmation of the donation I made matching yours. -- 'Til next time, John H ****************************************** ***** Have a Spectacular Day! ***** ****************************************** |

He said he had killfiled you, but I guess he hadn't. The race was spectacular, even though my daughter was in a wheel chair for the whole thing. Day after tomorrow she goes in for the hysterectomy and thyroidectomy. I'll go down for the operation. Hopefully the weather will be nice enough to allow for a nice motorcycle ride. Your comment was appropriate, but I wouldn't waste any more time on him. He's making up more lies as he goes, and it's just not worth it. -- 'Til next time, John H ****************************************** ***** Have a Spectacular Day! ***** ****************************************** |

Rather than explain it to you Richard, let me quote John directly:
++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 4-27-06 I'll match (on a $1 for $2 basis), up to the amount of the goal, any donations made to the foundation through this web site by anyone from this time until the cut-off for team donations, which is 1 May! So, if you donate $20, that'll cost me another $10! ***If the group donates $3500 and hits the goal, it'll cost me $1750.**** Go for it! -- 'Til next time, John H +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Richard, did you catch that part "If the group donates $3500 and hits the goal, it'll cost me $1750"? ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2 1/2 hours later that same date John said: Oh hell with it! I'll match (dollar for dollar) up to the goal! Now you could put me out $3676! (But don't spread it around!) All the other provisions apply! -- 'Til next time, John H +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ No where does he say from this date forward or he would match "further" or "future" donations. He plainly said he will match (dollar for dollar) up to the goal. And he has not. Spin it any way you want. Have a nice evening. |
