You know, John is right, in so far as Skipper provides enough goofy OP
threads suitable for ridicule, without polluting threads he didn't
start as a troll.

"Brunswick and Other Legends", "Croakers, Grunts 'n Mackerel", "The

of ridiculous trolling that deserves derision.... not so, other

The last few weeks have seen a substantial increase in political trolls.
This thread shows how quickly politics can leave the Off Topic Threads
and invade an On Topic Thread ruining the thread for those who actually
wanted to read an On Topic post. I am sure anyone who reads this thread
in the middle is wondering how a request for a Marina recommendation
results in silly name calling and a boring flame war.

Hopefully the number of political trolls will decrease and we can stop
get back to treating each other with respect.
