And looking at the differences in prices...........I can understand why.


BTW, I forgot one important item.

Component cables are the only form of consumer video transmission that will
work with the progressive scan output of your DVD player or HD cable
transmission. Composite and S-Video will only support interlaced mode. If
you haven't tried it - progressive scan yields a much smoother image with
less flickering than the older interlaced mode (your old, pre-HD TV set is
interlaced).
