I'm surprised at how few problems Jaguar had reported. After owning an
MGB-GT, I thought British cars were little more than maintenance hobbies.

PS. I wonder where Harry, jps, and bb went after their comeuppance the
bull**** posts about the Ruben Cantu execution?

people, but of course it's a huge joke for windows user:-)

Just sent you a mail, been reading the NG but um ........ Krause has
gone completely mad, we all suspected a 2nd term for Bushy tail would
sent him off his trolly again...

Have you noticed his diminished capacity and total lack of civility?
Sad, really. But on the bright side it shouldn't be long now for this to
become a great NG again...once his stench goes away.

He's just a shell of himself these days. His wit is gone, the wits
fried. Entering a boating discussion with him these days is like
bayoneting the wounded.

He's also been comprehensively shown as a non boating liar on so many
occasions it even embarrasses his lefty lackies.

Jaguar is owned by FORD.

The good thing about British made cars, is that because they do tend to
be "maintenance hobbies", they are made to work on. The clapped out '66
Triumph TR4A I had in Florida that I never got around to completing,
was always in need of some kind of wrenching, but even things like the
voltage regulator was made to work on, you could adjust the points in
the regulator to determine charge/non-charge rates.

You two should get a room, except both of you are so old and feeble,
you'd only be able to watch, and since neither of you have any money,
the motel you picked wouldn't have cable, and you still would not be
able to see those Roadrunner cartoons.

But you do make a perfect couple...of dumbasses.

They could always get a trailer toghther...somewhere in the Outback of
Australia ...preferably without internet access.

Yeah.....whattya think? Make him a big, fat treat for a pike?

With the hot air he has bottled up, he'd probably float all the way over
to the Ontario side, causing an international incident by polluting
Canadian shores.

Don't you fellas have regulations against the dumping of out-of-state
toxic waste in your waters?

The guys I know specialize in foundation work, if you get my drift.

Right. With the Hoffa-Matic device.

You have a point. Last time I looked, health care costs were very close
to 15% GDP. The rest of the industrialized world is around 10% and
under.
That is a major anti-competitive cost.

I'll take the US's health care system over any other health system in the
world. I can get the services I want when I want them rather than having
them be rationed to me.

It some countries, they're rationed, but not in other countries. Can you
provide examples of both categories, using the names of the countries?

Krause purchased a Toyota Tundra. I am sure he is completely
responsible
for those 30,000 employees losing their job.
He should be ashamed of himself.
Then bottom line, he and his ilk *are* responsible for those lost
jobs.
Hang on a minute, Scupper. I thought you right wing fags believe
in
personal
responsibility. It sure seems that way when you're slamming the
welfare
system. But now, GM gets a pass because not enough customers want
their
cars?
It's more a red state blue state thingy. Real Americans live in red
states, buy GM or Ford, and support their country. Them leftists
living
in blue states allowed to drive make payments on foreign tinkle
toys.
Bottom line...the Looney Left does not support their country or
traditional American values. They weaken American at every turn.

--
Skipper
That's because righties are lemmings, lefties are not. A right
winger
would buy American no matter what, because they're told to do so. A
left winger would use their brains, and know that some of the
foreign
models are more dependable, and better equipped for less money.
And then bitch about the jobs going overseas.

My Tacoma was built in California. IIRC, the engine block came from
Japan,
but Toyota does that to protect my job. It guarantees that the vehicle
will
get me to work many more times than another brand.

I recall reading several years ago that Toyota was planning to
manufacture some of its truck engines in the USA, too, but I haven't
followed that story, so I have no idea whether it took place.

Some of us realize that if the US had a decent program of national
health insurance and pension programs, as most other modern nations do,
our manufacturers would be more competitive.

If we all gave the money to the government, we wouldn't be able to buy
the
products at the prices they'd want anyway.

A Famous Hypocrite

I heard this on 700 WLW this morning. The figures are pretty close to
what
I recall as being reported:

Average number of hours to produce a car:

Toyota 21 hours
Ford 26 hours
Chrysler 34 hours
GM 38 hours

Add to that the health care coverage and pension giveaways and one wonders
why GM is struggling?

And how badly do the unions fight against robotics?
--
John H

NPR interview with a union official from (IIRC) Kentucky: He said one of
their biggest problems is a severe shortage of workers with basic reading
and math skills. Toss that around in your head and if you believe (as I do)
that parents are at least 50% of a kids educational success, you might start
wondering about whether kibbutzes could be a good idea. Maybe some kids
would be exposed to parents to give a damn, instead of the ones they've got
now.
