70k miles is nothing. Also, I know there are exceptions to the rule, so
to speak. But, if you'll go somewhere like kelly blue book, or J.D.
Powers, etc. and look at owner satisfaction numbers, repair frequency
numbers, etc., you'll find that in most catagories, Japanese cars fair
much better than U.S. built vehicles.

Care to point me to a Japanese vechicle rated to tow a 15,000 lb fifth
wheel and I'll consider it.

I say the amount of money you will spend on fuel towing a 15,000 lbs
fifth wheel, you are better off sleeping in a fancy hotel.

Most of the places Mrs. E will stay in at night while on the road won't
allow horses in the room.

Close to the truth.

That's a comment you really love. But, it's pointless because you're using a
rarely purchased specialty vehicle* as an example. It may as well be a
Caterpillar payloader.

* Don't even comment on the statistical meaning of this. Just don't.

I won't, other than to point out that RV'ing has had a dramatic growth curve
in the past few years and the market for products continues to be healthy.
I am willing to bet that Toyota or some other Japanese company will, within
a couple of years, introduce a truck that can compete with Ford's 250/350
series or GM and Dodge's 2500/3500 lines.

What is dangerous is seeing people trying to tow a 30 foot travel trailer
and all their gear with a Tundra.

Oh boy. At least some state campgrounds are kind enough to segregate these
monstrosities, far from the tent areas, so we don't need to listen to the
damned generators that are cranked up at 7:01 AM when quiet hours end.

Just sent you a mail, been reading the NG but um ........ Krause has
gone completely mad, we all suspected a 2nd term for Bushy tail would
sent him off his trolly again, but damn Nicholson couldn't replicate his
performance.

Take care.

We real Americans must carry the freight for hoards of leftist

Skippy is Dorothy, and Ms. Smith is the Wizard: all bluster, knows
nothing, and hides behind a curtain of anonymity.

She did burn *your* tail feathers in those Ficht technology debates.
