Do all Christians make you want to puke or just the ones who support the
death penalty?

I love people who walk the walk.

Having no right to take another's life is among the ten commandments.

And yet 80% of "christians" in America believe in the death penalty?

Need I say more?

jps

Do 80% of Democrat Christians make you puke, or just Republican Christians?

Lots more Republicans attend church than Democrats.

Seems like a math teacher who doesn't take this into account is being
disingenuous.

Surprise? Nope.

Numbers? Site? I find that somewhat hard to believe.

Indeed. I never knew that God cared about what political party one belonged
to.

George Bush thinks that God does care and that God looks after him and his
party.

go ahead and cough it up.

Ahh, such compassion.

No, Harry, I'm not a bleeding heart.

If the guy wants to puke, I'm not gonna talking him out of it,

Basicly, if the guy wants to memotionally gag himself...who cares?

It's all a soap box

Executed man may have been innocent
Witness, co-defendant tell newspaper man wasn't guilty

I notice you post didn't say he was innocent.

I used to put great faith in our legal system in this country, but not
anymore. There's been far too many abuses by the prosecution, the
police, the FBI, et cetera, for me to believe many of their claims. My
feelings about our criminal justice system began changing when I served
on a grand jury several decades ago. It was an eye-opener.

It isn't a requirement for a defendant to prove himself innocent, by the
way. The burden is on the state.

Damn Democrat governors!

The liberals managed to bring the legal system to it's current state of
affairs. Folks like you are to blame.

That's right. We liberals insisted upon civil liberties for all
defendant, not just rich white defendants. You know, silliness such as
legal counsel for defendant, for integrated juries, for rules of
evidence to be imposed and enforced, for an end to lynchings. Yup, our
kind pushed for these reforms. We're to blame.

You liberals executed a man who may have been innocent. Then you try to
blame conservatives.

Shame on you.

contempt, threats, etc., and then -- well, it's kind of like they had
indigestion and the vicious tirade worked like a burp: "There. Now I feel
better. Where were we?"
