Your friend is right. There is a problem developing over there. It's pretty much the same problem that developed here in the early 1960s when we were ignoring them pesky Negroes in places like Watts and Detroit. Now, there's them pesky brown people who just happen to be Muslims. Something overlooked here, birth rates. Those pesky brown people are there for the same reason those pesky Hispanics are here. To enable a growing economy. Birth rates in this country are so low that we can barely maintain our population, let alone a growing economy. Birth rates are even lower in Europe. Without immigration, both economies will just shrivel up. |

For what? To meet up with an ass like you who allegedly owned a 22' Crappyliner? Maybe stupid works in Derby, Kansas, but not in my zipcodes. Thanks Harry...I needed that morning chuckle...! |

Harry,
A few months ago you were lamenting the fact that you did not have someone of Skipper's caliber to banter back and forth. The Skipper of today, is basically the same Skipper of yesterday, you should be nice to him or he will get bored with you and leave rec.boats. Then you will have to lament not having Skipper to trade witty barbs with. "Harry Krause" wrote in message ... Skipper wrote: JIMinFL wrote: http://tinyurl.com/ctlzp Holy Crap, Skipper! That's ridiculous and the reason your cited web sites (interesting and fact-filled though they be) do not support your claim. I'm just sort of lurking in this part of the debate. Natives in places like Minnesota were wiped out by the Spanish? In my part of the world (Eastern Canada) the tribes usually lined up with either the English or French and as a result took many loses. |

One of my boats is sitting in my driveway right now, fella. You wanna come by for a looksee? Email me. Or I could snap a photo...it's got fall color leaves falling on it at the moment. Later this week, after I offload all the gear and wash and wax it, it'll be headed to the Yamaha dealer for engine winterizing. Why are you getting so excited and upset, Krause? You have boats, and plenty of them. And while we're on that subject, I will take you up on that offer of a photo. I'm particularly interested in that 'get home' engine you've bragged about. Can we see a pic? BTW, I can send you winterizing instructions if your capable and in good enough health for DYI. -- Skipper |

JiminFl,
Harry has a 25' Parker, he likes to talk about his custom built Lobster boat, but that is a fiction of a vivid mind. Harry is always willing to send photos, proof of bill of sale and offer to have to take people fishing on his Parker. No one has ever seen the Lobster Boat, except someone who was posting using Harry's IP. Someone made a $10,000 bet to prove ownership of the Lobster Boat, someone offered to make a $1000 contribution to the Salvation Army if Harry showed proof of ownership of the Lobster Boat. Harry cowered away from both of these offers. That aside, the odds are that Harry does own a Parker, he just never uses it. Yesterday, I had a great day on the boat. Picked up some chicken, slaw and potato salad and headed up to the lake. Did a little work on the boat, draining the fresh water lines and filling the lines with Pink Stuff. I then headed out for a beautiful day on the lake. Read a book, eat some lunch and got some sun. I have always though fall is the best time of the year. It is very quiet on the lake and it is more comfortable than the summer. I am still approximately 30 days from Winterizing the engine. If there is a unexpected freeze, I can winterize the engine in less than 2 hrs. "JIMinFL" wrote in message ink.net... Harry,
If you just accepted the fact that no one believes you have a Lobster Boat you would feel much better. Remember, the truth will set you free. "Harry Krause" wrote in message ... Skipper,
I don't think your challenge upset Harry. The only time he pretended to have you filtered was when you challenged his ownership of the Lobster Boat. That is the only time you got his goat. ; ) "Skipper" wrote in message ... Harry Krause wrote: Some years ago, Skipper tried his damnedest to "entice" me to trailer a boat about 2500 miles from the east coast of Florida (or maybe it was after I moved to the Chesapeake Bay area) to the Gulf of California, where he would meet me with his imaginary Bayliner to see which boat was the better cruiser. Or some such nonsense. Why I would want to waste days of my life towing a boat those distances to meet up with asshole with a Bayliner was something I couldn't parse. Actually, Krause had made specific allegations regarding galvanized Escort trailers, the Cortez, his open water skills, Bayliners, the San Carlos area, and Skippers boat. The ONLY way to test his claims was in this specific Challenge. Harry failed this shake 'n bake verification and has carried that chip ever since. -- Skipper |
