If the motor is running but the drum is slipping, the clutch pressure needs to be tightened. If the motor is stalling out, check your electrical connections. If all of the above checks out, you either have a problem in the gearbox (very common), or a defective motor. Hi Wayne, thanks for the response. The motor seems to stall out - there is no continued sound from the motor once the line stops moving. Time to get out the multimeter . . . hope it's that simple. Rich |
