If Clinton had
1- appointed a bunch of ideologues who sat on their butts when tens of
thousands of Americans needed their action
2- made a string of moronic statements
3- lied thru his teeth about "nobody thought the levees would break"
(also a candidate under #2 above)
4- stayed on vacation thru the first two days of a major crisis like this
5- passed the buck and started blaming others
6- presided over a campaign of lies, slanders, & smears to avoid
responsibility

then yes, I'd blame him just as strenuously.
