check the prop that hit something. It may be a little bent.

Alie,
If I read the post correctly the vibration is present despite having the shafts and props repaired after the prop strike??? If not, have them checked. If so, the work may not have been done correctly. It's also just possible the transmission suffered some damage to the input shaft bearing or other internal parts. You should, for the purpose of alignment and balancing, consider the engine, transmission, shaft, log, strut, and prop as a monolithic structure. For perfect running all the pieces must be in agreement/harmony. Good luck. Butch "Dag Sunde" wrote in message ... wrote in message oups.com... check the prop that hit something. we are going to replace both props with new one, we also discover the
mountings were not in the right order, one mounting from the gear box put at the engine side by mistake !!, we'll go to see trial and see if that works. and come back thanks |
