I have a 89 40 hp evinrude, that won't run at high speed. It been that
way whenwe started it up this year. It was fogged for the winter. I have rebuilt the carbs, new fuel filter, plugs. Tried new gas. It start up fine. When you start it up cold, we'll pull up the handle to give it more air. And it use to scream. Now it just run realy ruff. I been told it was the carbs. They were very clean inside, replaced the guts. Blow out all the holes. Not sure what to check now! Thanks Barry |
