The Legal $eafood here is grossly overpriced, the service is terrible,
and the food is OK at best. It's located in a tourist trap, a shopping
mall, so that might be the difference. The single location restaurants
are usually a better choice. I've had some of the best seafood in
restaurants I would never visit if it wasn't for a recommendation from a
"local". I guess the same could be said for other restaurants (steaks,
ribs, etc.)

You should. Everything is fresh. It is one of the two places where I'll
order raw cherrystones. The other is Legal Seafood.
