We have a local fishhouse that charges 10 bucks for a dinner with two
first-class crabcakes, hushpuppies and slaw. The cakes are almost all
crab, fresh, and gently cooked. Delicious. Not on the water.

We have another local fishhouse that charges $35.00 for the same dinner.
It's on the waterfront. Its fishcakes are no better than the less
expensive place.

And why, pray tell, do you not give names? Surely you're not referring to
Stoney's?

Stoney's? Well, it has a nice restaurant in Solomons and another on
Broomes Island, but I think it is grossly overpriced.

Exactly, so what's the name of the $10 dinner place with the great crabcakes?
The second one sounded like Stoney's, about $30 for a crabcake sandwich.

Really great fresh fresh fresh seafood at great prices. Nothing fancy
about the restaurants. We like the one on Old Solomons Island Road, just
south of Annapolis. It's a a fishmarket/restaurant with maybe a dozen
tables.

Two crabcake dinner for a ten spot. No kidding. And at least the equal
of Stoney's in terms of crabcake quality.

Thanks. May give it a try.
