It turns out that there are 18 trawlers going trans atlantic as we
speak. They left Ft Lauderdale earlier in the week and are crossing
by way of Bermuda and the Azores. The longest leg is Bermuda to the
Azores at about 1800 NM.

Very interesting - it seems that Nordhavns are rather popular in
the USA, they are in the process of opening a sales office in the UK
so I will pay them a visit at the Southampton show,

The northern route is shorter, but more prone to bad weather and
certainly colder than the Azores route.
