Since JimH is ready to move up from his Moped, here's a little car that
might be the next logical step. Starting to see quite a number of them on the street here. http://www.smartcarofamerica.com/ |

When and if oil hits $100/bbl, alternatives like this will become more popular. Kiss water skiing goodbye. We have a local dealer for these, and I've been out for a ride on Lake Union in a Duffy. Absolutely quiet, about like sailing. http://www.duffyboats.com/ |

Lots of the homes on the canals have one. |

Why don't you wait for you idol, Harry, to verbally trash someone first and then you can pile on. |

Absolutely quiet, about like sailing. http://www.duffyboats.com/ At Alexander's Lake down in Killingly there are a couple of the 20 footer's. I've been on one and frankly, I'm wasn't overly impressed with the boat. Gee, they look kinda pretty. Yes - it's just not my thing - kind of like pontoon boats - if it were in my power, I'd sink every freakin' one of them - except for those with decent power and speed. Also, as an engineer, I wasn't happy with the quality of the wiring and the routing. Granted, I only saw one and I don't know if it had even been worked on by a butcher. |

I read that in the mid west they have a new kind of fuel, its 85% alcohol
and 15% gas. Only certain cars can use it at this point, you can tell by your vin #. Its about 60 cents less per gallon. Im wondering if the marine people are looking at alternative fuel sources like this for boating.... Ed "Don White" wrote in message ...
