My Eliminator - the previous owner from Texas had painted the numbers on.
I had to remove them to put Alabama numbers on. What a pain. Finally
got them off w/ an ice scraper and acetone.

You can have the contractor put it on or you can do it yourself. It is not
hard to do yourself and may save you some money.

Be creative with your design. Anything that can be done (graphically) on a
computer can be reproduced onto vinyl. You can even create your own on your
computer, make a cd copy of it, and ask the shop to reproduce it in the
correct scale.

And don't be afraid to get estimates but make sure you compare the grade of
vinyl and size of graphics they are proposing.

After the name/graphics are applied, be careful of the edges when power
buffing the transom and you will be fine for years.
