Please don't paint it. If you sell the boat and someone wants to change the
name - very difficult. (Don't start telling me about the fobia of changing
a boat name).
My Eliminator - the previous owner from Texas had painted the numbers on. I
had to remove them to put Alabama numbers on. What a pain. Finally got
them off w/ an ice scraper and acetone.

Vinyl works great.
