off, shoots Charlie, and retrieves the launcher. If true, he did
everything wrong."

LOL, I suggest you go back and read the article at Snopes. Hint, the gray
boxed article is what is later proven false.

A launcher that has fired the round is not loaded. An RPG launcher holds
only one round. So Kerry shot an unarmed, wounded soldier. Sounds like
courage to me!

You mean see what little he can release and not get called for it?
Kerry didn't release anything until he was beat up to do so. Not that
I think Bush and anything closed to a stellar miltary record... but
Bush released more military records that Kerry did... and Bush did it
over two months ago.

Kerry still hasn't released his medical report for his first Purple

Why are you still harping on a man who earned a Silver Star and a Bronze
Star, Bertie...did you? Did Bush?

Earn the Cross or The Medal and you will have lots of respect.

I think you Demo Liberals need to look at the web sites again you posted.
Their is no (repeat NO for those who can't see)

Where are the results of Bush's weekly random substance abuse screens.
It's the least we can ask of a alcoholic, cocaine user like Bush.

Do such screens exist, Harry? "Weekly?" "Random?" If he was getting
tested weekly, it wouldn't be random. Oh but wait.... these "weekly
random substance abuse screens" are just something you made up.

Did you serve? I went in in 1965. Air Force. Draft notice went to the
wrong address late 1964, so knew they were looking for me. Never left the
States. assigned to a military airlift wing. Electronics. Spent most of
the time in an air-conditioned shop at Travis AFB fixing radar's off misc.
transports. I even get to check the Viet Nam era veteran box. Did turn
down chopper pilot offer from the army while at Keesler AFB. 1965 was not a
good year to be flying choppers. The one bad thing about the all volunteer
army is the need for fast, young guns. Get slower, more knowledgeable
gunners.

Au contraire, at least for most of the right-wing pondscum that pollutes
this newsgroup! All I have to do is toss out one tiny piece of bait, and
dozens of right-wing low-brain output types jump out of their trees to
defend Bush, racism, corporate greed, xenophobia, drug companies,
abortion clinic bombers, right-wing terrorists, the attorney general,
Rush, faux news, and women who stay home and keep themselves barefoot
and pregnant, ad nauseum. Why, without me, they wouldn't be able to
exchange their lack-of-witticisms, bad grammar, bad spelling, and bad
thoughts.

Bill here has a problem because he tried to make it as a general
contractor in California, but couldn't get the licenses he needed
because he was unable to obtain workman's compensation insurance. He
blames the requirement for that kind of insurance on the union movement.
So, instead, he scrounged his living by taking on odd contracting jobs
and visiting "shape-ups" early the morning where he could find
unemployed men he could "hire" off the books and exploit because they
were desperate for the few dollars he'd pay.

Bill's anti-union because the union movement was a minor impediment in
his desire to take advantage of the working class.

Your still full of **** Harry. You could not make it in the real world, so
you rode the backs of working men and women as a union organizer and hack to
be able to buy expensive custom boats, while they have to go on strike,
giving up income while you still collect your excessive lucre. And anybody
here can get workers comp. Just pay the money.

Is that why you started smoking pot?

Have any evidence of me smoking pot? See? No proof, so, as YOU stated
above, it's foolish of you!

And this one, again proving that you are calling YOURSELF "foolish":

The best part about Basskisser's argument is the definition he
provided told
him why Schnapps is not a whiskey, but he must have been too stoned to
be
able to read it.

Or this one. Once again, remember, you stated above that if there is
no proof of someone's allegations, then they are foolish for making
such:

NOYB,
You need to be nice to basskisser, he suffers from FAS, and is self
medicating with pot.

Get the point, fool?

Serving in the military is no longer honorable because the soldiers are
little more than global thugs.

That's an asinine thing to say.

If you had *served* you would already know this.

Four years, 75th Ranger Bn.

Bull****. Rangers display more sense.

Yes.

I went in in 1965. Air Force.

Serving in the military is no longer honorable because the soldiers are
little more than global thugs.

I think that describes the administration perfectly, but not the majority

of
the soldiers.

Then you are exposing yourself to the wrong type of media.
The soldiers are stealing, killing and raping innocents....the same sort of
things you find in any run down inner city thug neighborhood.
You have heard about the US military uniforms and equipment showing up on
the black market in Iraq haven't you?

I will say, though, that anyone who believes success was
likely has chosen not to learn from history. As we all know, that's always

a
mistake. Our tactics didn't work in the Phillippines or Vietnam. They will
never work.

Since World War II, in 35 U.S. attempts to promote democracy around the
world none have succeeded.

Promoters of war too often fail to contemplate the unintended consequences
of an aggressive foreign policy. So far, the anti-war forces have not been
surprised with the chaos that has now become Iraq, or Iran's participation -
but even they cannot know all the long-term shortcomings of such a policy.

In an eagerness to march on Baghdad, the neo-cons gloated of the "shock and
awe" that was about to hit the Iraqi people. It turns out that the real
shock and awe is that they are further from peace in Iraq than they were a
year ago - and Secretary Rumsfeld admits his own surprise.
