Your point??

Sandy K.

I just think it's was a little funny.
I have loved my boats and all the money,
time and energy needed to keep them going.

Mostly it was just supposed to be something boat related instead of politic.

You don't have to explain yourself it was a good post and humorous.

I remember looking to buy my first boat for about 4 months. But for some
reason it wasn't until the day AFTER I bought that first boat that people
started telling me:

You know what BOAT stands for don't you?
Break Out Another Thousdand

You know what a boat is don't you?
A hole in the water you throw money into.

You know what the happiest two day' of a boat owner's life are, don't you?
The day he buys the boat and the day he sells it.

You know how to become a millionare don't you?
Start with two million and buy a boat?

You're quite the ray of sunshine.
Most of us are longing to be back in a boat after a long brutal winter.
Leave us alone with out fantasies.

basskisser's fantasy: Being Monica Lewinsky & owning a large greenhouse.
Don White's Fantasy: Visiting Texas, shooting a gun and being a spokesperson
for the United Nations.
Harry K's Fantasy: Owning a school bus factory & buying that Lobsta Boat.
jps's fantasy: Making some money and holding down a good job
Joe Parson's dream: Being the moderator of this newsgroup and the Chief of
the Net Police.

Did I leave anybody out over on the left?

Leave the guy alone, he posts something related to boating and y'all jump on
him. What's the matter not OT enough for ya?

Gary
thanks for your post. I agree this is much better than politics on a
boating sight. and I do remember your first boat as well. And we both
loved every minute and expence and wouldn't have it any other way!
launch date-this Saturday (again,weather permitteing)

Rich -

I'll be out sometime between the 24th and 28th
and would love to take a first ride of the season.

Actually, I have a favor to ask you that I just
remembered, so I'll be giving you a call.

Etc.

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed
by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do.

So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover."

And there's another one about nothing being more satisfying than "simply messing
about in boats"

"I must go down to the seas again..."

"In the middle of the week
In the middle of the day
In the middle of the summer
In the middle of the bay
Boots kicked off, feet out to dry
Lying on the cuddy counting clouds in the sky
Throw her down and take a break
To hell with profits you won't make
Take her slack cause you deserve
To rock yourself on the ocean."
