I used 3 trolling motors ($99 dollar variety from Wal-Mart) to move my
37' 12 ton sailboat about 1/4 mile up river. They pushed it 2-3 knots
with good control in light air.

I'm going to remove the outboard from my 24' pontoon camper and use the
three trolling motors with the controls move to the helm. This for
inland waters of coarse with a big anchor on deck for storms.
