BWAHAHAHAHA!!! I don't think we can thank Vets, past and present, enough.
This thread has turned out to be really interesting. I bet you it got more
responses than what a "Jane Fonda Thank You" would have. Man, this beer
tastes good.

Franko

Probably would have gotten the same people from the opposite perspective!

What prompted the response, the 'name-calling' or the 'not a vet'

Your comment:

"Your name-calling is reminiscent of another in the group. He's not a
vet either, and the jealousy is blatantly obvious. It's a shame."

Or did someone else spoofing your ID toss in that insult?

Perhaps I wasn't clear. Which part of my comment got *your* attention?
What
makes you think I was referring to you? There are several other
name-calling,
non-vets in the group.

I have 7 pounds of baby back ribs about to come out of the oven (I seasoned
them overnight with my special rub) and onto the grill.

Yum.

Will you share your rub recipe?

Well John...when the anon. re-mailer terrorist was threatening to
severely hurt me...our 'poster boy' butted in with cracks about my
panties showing, about me hiding behind my wife etc.. I must have missed
the posts where you corrected him.

I have to admit, I paid very little attention to the anonymous folks. Most of
their stuff I never even opened. Too many names I didn't recognize. If someone
was calling names, then I'm not in favor of it. You've decided to align yourself
with one of the worst name-callers in the group. That's your choice, but a lot
of the anti-Krause stuff rubs off on those who hang on his every word. It's not
right that it rubs off, but it does. When you back up every post he makes,
you're approving of all his name-calling.

Well before we all break into a round of Cum Ba Ya and a group hug...
I take back my nasty shot at Bert. Memorial Day, Veterans Day (or
Remembrance Day up here) is no time to belittle anyone's military
service....and yes..the US Military does 95% of the heavy lifting around
the world. I wish an enjoyable holiday to anyone now serving, or the
veterans who have done their share in the past.

Thanks, that's nice of you and it's appreciated.

Our boy Herring is very selective in his admonitions. He'd be better
served by following his own advice, and setting the example he wants
others to follow.

When was the last time I called a name I didn't apologize for, Harry? Even then
the names were called because a certain individual made false statements about
me.

Yep!

OK! I'm waiting! The address I have above works. Send me yours and I'll send you
mine back. Mine is a quickie I got from a friend. Not bad, but not great.

My latest trick is to bake the ribs for about 4 hours at 225 degrees, then pop
'em on the grill for about 10 minutes a side. I get my ribs at Costco. They're
the best I've found around here.

It is tiring trying to keep track of who's who.
Maybe I'll be more selective in what I read.
