Yamaha unions - basskisser, where are you?

basskisser, thanks for the list of Yamaha centers in the US that you
provided. I spoke with head office for Yamaha Motor Corporation,
U.S.A. in Cypress, CA -- see below:

Tel: 714-761-7300
Fax: 714-761-7302

Key People
• President: Shohei Kato
• CFO: Nicky Mizuta

We went through your list. Guess what -- none (to the best of her
knowledge, and she said she'd know) are unionized. Now, did you tell a
lie, or were you simply misinformed by your intelligence sources
(Harry, I assume).

Just one more reason to buy a Yammy. I won't be supporting no-show
jobs, non-working ball-busters, or union "officers" who go to Vegas
"conventions" on members dues $$.

And that's speaking as a former union member (UFCW, Local 1032 &

Jesus. You guys are as dumb as cotter pins. Yamaha outboards are
manufactured in three plants, two in Japan and one somewhere in Europe,
Germany or France, I think.

All three plants are completely unionized. They're not American unions,
but they are unions. Their unions bargain over wages, hours, and working
conditions, just as unions here do.

"You ****ing idiot!!! Do you not think that outboard motors need to be

of those outboards........are through distribution centers...ya think?
Now, the centers are wholly owned and operated by Yamaha Motors,

Really? I never claimed Yamaha had organized outboard motor plants in
the USA. I did say Yamaha had unionized musical instrument plants and
some other unionized plants, but I'm not interested enough to find out
which and where.

But Yamaha outboards are certainly built by union members in Japan and
France.

I quit on Christmas Day, 2001. I'm still in a bad mood. But I don't
think I issued a diatribe about the "unionized (NOT) Yamaha
distribution centers" proclaimed by basskisser. I know not what upset
Harry, other than my mentioning a possible association between him and
basskisser.

From your post I can see that Harry is calling me names. That puts me
in good company, so I don't feel badly about it. Let's see...in the

I think John recently mentioned he was quitting smoking. If so we should cut
him some slack for a few months. It can be quite difficult.

I quit on Christmas Day, 2001. I'm still in a bad mood. But I don't
think I issued a diatribe about the "unionized (NOT) Yamaha
distribution centers" proclaimed by basskisser. I know not what upset
Harry, other than my mentioning a possible association between him and
basskisser.

Then answer my question, John. When I called, (by the way, I used the
toll free number), I got a totally different response. I asked, whom
did you speak to? I'd love to talk to that particular person.

Just one more reason to buy a Yammy. I won't be supporting

no-show
jobs, non-working ball-busters, or union "officers" who go to

Vegas
"conventions" on members dues $$.

And that's speaking as a former union member (UFCW, Local 1032 &
CWA-NJ)

FishFan
On the 'Poco Loco' out of Deale, MD
on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay!

This started when basskisser made the following statement:

"You ****ing idiot!!! Do you not think that outboard motors need

to
be
distributed? Hmm, here's a thought you dolt, maybe that

distribution
of those outboards........are through distribution centers...ya

think?
Now, the centers are wholly owned and operated by Yamaha Motors,
U.S.A. and use union labor. My orginal "yamaha has plants in the

U.S.
and they use organized labor" is valid, and correct."

As it turns out, basskisser was bull****ting the troops, based,
probably, on information from Harry Krause who also tends to call
people every name he can think of.

John H

You really have turned yourself into a lying asshole, John.

Harry is just distorting the facts again. The facts are as John says.

So, we know Harry is a liar. No arguements there? Now the facts seem
to be out on Basskisser, another one who will state anything during a
debate, without reguard to truth. So now we are making progress. If we
now dismiss both Harry and Bass, the whole damn group would soon be
about boats again. Just don't address the lies, we all know they are
lies. Put the Boats back into rec.boats...

Did you catch his latest lie in the "OT: Rumor Dispelled: Rove Did NOT

Send
Ricin to Frist" thread? Seems he rewrote a news article and posted his
edited version there, presenting his edited version as something written

by
the author of the article.

I noticed that Harry made no effort to separate his comments from the
article. In fact, it seemed he made a *strong* effort to make it appear as
if his ideas were part of the original article.

Well, between Harry and basskisser, I don't know who I'd vote for.
They do make a good pair though!

organized labor, and also were going to post this on rec.boats, to the
scrutiny of others, and didn't get a name?? Now, WHICH corporation
that I gave you, did this mystery lady say wasn't unionized? The
people I've spoken to have a totally different story.

Yup, all sorts of damage, child labor laws, 40 hour work week, safe
working conditions, living wage. You can argue they have outlived their
usefulness, but on the whole, unions have done far more good than damage.

Where did I say that I love unions? I simply stated that Yamaha
U.S.A.'s operations centers, distribution centers, etc. use organized
labor. You don't have a freakin' CLUE what the thread was about.
Where did I "defend" unions?

Burned yet another bridge, eh, Johnny?

Bridge? basskisser is a bridge to land of the idiots...and you're his toll
collector.

What an ignorant putz you are. You continue to amaze me with your
stupidity. I mean, look at you, you have NOTHING of any substance to
interject into the thread, yet continue to blather.

Again, John, WHO DID YOU SPEAK TO? By the way, I used the toll free number.

Didn't write down her name. The phone number I used was *not* an 800
number, and if you will Read The F***ing Post, you'll have the phone
number.

John H

What to hell IS your problem? I NEVER said that YOU used an 800
number! I said I did. The fact remains, you are a liar. Are you saying
that you called a long distance number, had this long conversation
about each and every Yamaha U.S.A. factory, distribution center, parts
warehouses, etc., all for the sake of an argument, but for the ensuing
argument, didn't get the person's name you were citing FOR that
argument? Just for your information, the toll free number goes to the
same exact place that you claim you called, Cypress, CA. Try again,
John.

Done with you.

John H

Just as I figured. You lied, and have nothing to substantiate your statements.

Oh, horse****! You right bent, bush lovers post just as much off topic
as ANYBODY on the left does.
