By every standard of measurement, union members earn higher pay and
better benefits than corresponding workers who are not unionized. That
higher pay and better benefit package is the result of collective
bargaining by unions on behalf of their members. There are all manner of
legitimate statistics to back up my statement.

Perhaps if you had a decent job skill, John, you, too, might be accepted
into a union where you could earn a decent living.
