Supposed to be in the 50s this Sunday. I *might* head out for "the last
fishing trip of the season" up here. If anyone reasonably reasonable wants to come, I've got room for two or maybe three. Your obligation is to show up at the dock around cast-off time, share in the cost of the gas used and help with the clean-up. Bring your own food and drink. I like to get out around 8 am and get back by 3 so there is enough time to scrub out the boat before it gets dark. There are some big stripers being caught right now. Deale, Maryland. If you're interested, let me know. I'll check the email address listed below for a change. I'll need your name and phone number. Oh...and a special note to Karen Smith...if you show up, you can come, too. Just don't fall into the chum grinder, eh? I just cleaned it out. -- Email sent to is never read. |

I'm just wondering what over the top "proof" you'll produce this time?? faked pics won't cut it after 3 boats, oops my mistake 4, using faked pics, that certainly won't work again. How about a fictitious "friend" who can give testimony??? why don't you try that, I mean you must hear voices from your special friend all day??? It's no shame not to own a boat Harry & the fact that you have to either pay to go on charters or bludge from people who don't realise what you are ... yet; that's fine. In short, there's just no need to make up these fantastic stories. Some people, mostly real boat owners, would probably agree with you that renting a ride when the day, weather etc is right is much smarter than actually owning your "own" boat; but hey we own our boats because we just have to, not because it's "smart". I was especially amused when you got cornered in the jetski groups having BS'ted that you were a jetskie owner yourself so could tell them all what bad, ignorant, etc, & etc people they were; when inevitably asked why you bought one then??? you came up with...... wait....... no not yet .............. just a tick longer &...... for effect:-) The PWC was won as a prize in a raffle. Love it!!! you're completely delusional!!! gone to Gowings as we say he-) We await your next lie, don't disappoint will you, although you never have thus far:-) K |

Where are you going? I picked up a nice fish today (36") trolling south of
PAX River on the west side of the channel almost to bouy 72. My first Rockfish, I'm glad I moved here, it made up for Isabelle. Dad "Harry Krause" wrote in message ... If it is really cold, I doubt I'll go out. You keep your boat around Solomons? -- Email sent to is never read. |

I trailered down from the South River area. All the talk was the fish were
south so I pulled the boat and went for it. Strange tides yesterday. I almost couldn't pull the boat out to take it down there 2 1/2 ft below predictions all day, finally got it out last night at about 9. The talk from the regulars at the ramp when I was leaving Solomons was tomorrow (Sunday) was the day to get out. Unfortunately I heavily mortgaged the honey do list to get out today, going tomorrow might cost me half of everything I own :-) It was a little choppy with a steady wind. Took some agua over the bow on a few occasions. Caught him in 65 ft of water on an umbrella Dad "Harry Krause" wrote in message ... Islanderdad wrote: Where are you going? I guess I am getting old, because that's too cold for me to enjoy fishing. Supposed to get up to 52F or so, but there's a pretty heavy cloud cover. I'm skipping today and will likely be helping my wife hang some new drapes. Oh, the joy of that. One more nice day this season...and I'll be out on the Bay. But it has to be by next weekend, because Yo Ho is headed for the shrinkwrapper right after that. -- Email sent to is never read. |

Temps in the 40's are not bad for fishing. I would not mind having a cabin, but once the rod bends any feeling of cold is gone! John On the 'Poco Loco' out of Deale, MD |

I can't do these all day on the water trips very often the next day (Today) is brutal. I feel like I'm still in the chop. Shift subjects: I hear alot about shrink wrapping here is that worth the $$ on a 21 footer? Coming from San Diego our winterizing was less to worry about and I don't think anyone used shrink wrap. Winterizing is kind of new for me, I figured to just have it done vice trying to do it myself the first time. Dad |
