Tim,
Not stupid at all. The boat has two engines, the port side tach is working fine. I can't find the sender on that one either. By buddy says that both were working ok, then the starboard started working intermittently. Mike Tim wrote: Mike, this is a really stupid question, but when you say you're trying to find the tach lead, are you trying to install a tach where one wasn't before? or trying to repair the tach thats already on the boat? if this is a new engine, it probably doesn't have one, and must be supplied by the tach mfj.
