Mike, this is a really stupid question, but when you say you're trying
to find the tach lead, are you trying to install a tach where one
wasn't before?

or trying to repair the tach thats already on the boat?

if this is a new engine, it probably doesn't have one, and must be
supplied by the tach mfj.
