At least the Sovereign 23 is decked over (it might even have positive flotation) and can carry supplies. It's also going to cover a lot more ground in a day's sailing even if it's a relatively stodgy 23 footer. The trip out to Bimini is a one-day event. You can pick the weather. Crossing a major chunk of ocean is a take- whatever- she- throws- at- you scenario. Fresh Breezes- Doug King |
