Finally, a correct answer. Even though the question was posed correctly, the
other answers were for a stringer mount stern drive not a Sea Drive. Bill Sheffield wrote: No The Sea Drives don't have electric shift. They do have problems, one of which is ingestion of sea water mist while running.......not good for the little needle bearing inside the powerhead. I have seen some rigged with the air intake inside of the boat, which helps. Unless you can buy the rig extremely cheap, it's best to stay away from them. Bill |
