No, the OMC electric shift drives are a pain in the ass. There is a clutch
coil down in the lower end that will fail in the most unusual time, once a
year perhaps, and that gear ball knuckle transmission piece will wear out
also, annually. Stay away from that unit if you can, unless it is given to
you.
