Sometime in the past few days, the Doonesbury comic strip reran a concept introduced last summer. Pretty funny. Reporters are asking questions at a White House news conference. They ask about Medicaid or some such thing, and the answer from the podium is "9/11". They ask about taxes, and the answer is "9/11". Finally, one of them asks if that's going to be the answer to ALL questions. The response is "9/11, 24/7". :-) Robots! They were fascinating in the 1950s when they were the stuff of sci fi fantasy. Now, it's getting a little strange. |
