I believe the St. Johns River ends in Central Florida quite a bit north of Cocoa Beach, which is on the Atlantic Coast. I think it keeps going, at least from Lake Poinsett to Lake Winder and south. Don't know if this will work, but will try anyway: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...58&mqmap.y=146 Click on the lake to the southwest of Cocoa and follow the river down. Between these two lakes, the river is only about twenty yards wide, but its banks are full of bass. Cane pole poppin' is a favorite way to catch them.
