Yes, I am using the same clutch plate pack. The spacers are metal
washers so I don't think there is any wear there. The clutch plates still have all the ridges on them so I think that they are OK as well. It requires a great deal of pressure to compress this pack to take it apart. A new pack may solve the problem and I would be willing to give it a try. I have searched and have been unable to locate a source for a new one. Do you have any ideas who a person could contact? You are correct it is a wet clutch system which requires it to be filled with OMC 4 cycle oil. I have been using Quaker State 10-40. Kevin |
