Default Move to Red Country!

Travel & Leisure reports that the newly announced Life Works Here
initiative is attracting new residents to Northwest Arkansas by offering
them $10,000 to move there. They’re also throwing in a street or
mountain bike with the deal, allowing new residents to easily explore
the area’s 162 miles of paved trails and 322 miles of mountain biking
trails.

Included at no extra cost, along with the region's hard scrabble
poverty: low school test scores, poor health care, alcoholism, a
25-year old pickup truck, teen pregnancies, crack, missing teeth,
cigarettes, and a Trump sign...

That can't be for real. All they will attract is more low income people that will strain their already meager resources.

You are talking about Bill and Hillary home town. If you had half a brain
you would find out for yourself before you fire off those weak synspses.

Sounds like a blue region. Trying to get people who don’t live on the
dole and bankruptcies.

I have a Maryland friend I just reconnected with who had been in Eagle
River Wisconsin. He now lives in exactly the area you are talking
about. He says the place is beautiful.

That is the area where they went when they got rich. Hope is more
toward the SW center of the state.
Harry and Don's idea that the place is all terra cotta tooth rednecks
is belied by the fact that there are lots of millionaires in
Bentonville.
