Has anyone actually read or witnessed this "influence" that everyone keeps talking about?Â*Â* I certainly have not. Heh heh heh heh. Good answer. There's been no shortage of news coverage of what the Russkies are doing to help Trump with fake reports on social media and attempts to hack into state election boards. |

I've been hearing all the news coverage and claims by politicians. My question is: Has anyone actually *seen what* the Russians are doing to accomplish this? Again, I hear all about that they are attempting to do so but nobody offers any hard evidence of *how* or *what* they are actually doing. Serious question. |

In fact, the only recent social media meme I recall is a false one that is against Bernie, although I'll admit that I don't participate much in that arena. The only real Russian hacking that I've seen are the reports from 2016 that they did it. There are claims that they are doing it again, but I've seen no credible reports that it has actually happened at this time. I have little doubt that they will try again, but right now it appears it's just the usual suspects trying to whip up a frenzy. AKA "fake news". |

The anti-Bernie meme could just as easily been posted by the DNC. They don't want him to get the nomination. |

I haven't seen anything on Facebook either other than the normal bull****, anyone could put up there, mostly shares from one woman I have known from the Prodigy days. (A hippie Mondale/Dukakis Democrat, now a Trump fan) Maybe Zuckerberg knows Ed is not registered to vote and he doesn't target us. |

My understanding is that Ed voted twice in Chicago. Not that he is willing to admit but I fear he would be a yellow dog democrat if he did. After all the guy has never worked a day in his life, he lays around all day, he depends on handouts and he barks loudly if he doesn't get them. He is a Bernie voter for sure but he might like Yang if he was still in the race. $1,000 goes a long way in the Purina aisle. === Well then dog gone it, he should vote his conscience and remember who fills his food bowl. :-) |

It might go a long way in the Purina isle, but like the "cash for clunkers" debacle it won't go near as far after it's been taxed... |

I see the hysteria but the fact is, social media is still a freedom of speech platform and the only hacking I am aware of is looking at public records. If your election board is so stupid that any part of the actual voting process is online, you deserve what you get. Here in Florida we have exactly what people were saying was the thing we need. It is a paper ballot that provides a hard copy trail from the actual vote to the election result. Nothing is online to be hacked. |
