If you are getting the electricity from a coal fired plant, you haven't gained anything. The gain is even questionable with gas fired plants. For the most part, the economic viability is back loaded on the tax payer in a fairly regressive manner. They have moved from being souped up golf carts for geeks to rich people's toys with the subsidies being paid by people who can't afford one. Solar power is much the same. People rich enough to put $40,000-50,000 on their roof get subsidized by those who aren't. |

What exactly are you "doing" except trolling on the internet? Bill is doing far more than you and you only give him ridicule. (I also have collectors on my roof) |
