Joe's Stone Crab in Miami is also kind of unique. We went there twice in our last visit. Love stone crabs. My question, though, was whether there were dishes or cuisines unique to SW Florida or cuisines for which SW Florida is famous. It is probably going to be seafood, particularly shrimp, since Ft Myers Beach is one of the biggest shrimp docks in the world. You can buy shrimp here that was swimming less than 12 hours ago. |
