Because there aren't more than 5000 similar or identical recipes for
this on You Tube, eh?

He was trying to say that out of the hundreds of recipes, half are below average. Of the ones that are above, most have too much salt, garlic, black pepper, etc. Of the final few, there are several that are actually really good. It's nice to find one that's worth keeping.

I suppose if you have taste buds dulled by being a fat head ignoramus like Airee eating doctor prescribed tofu, any one would do, eh? :)

ESAD actually was the recipe I thought more of you would and should
enjoy. Rec.Boats...so many right-wing turds in one bowl, eh?

Gosh, a recipe for a roast cooked in a pot, and served with mashed
potatoes. Who would have thunk it? Of the hundreds of published, four to
five star recipes for basically the same dish, by the way, determining
which are the good ones is strictly a matter of taste. "Too much salt,
garlic, black pepper, et cetera," is the epitome of "taste."

It got posted because it was quick, simple, and tasty. And I’m sure there’s plenty of 5 Star eatery’s that do the same thing tand call it something exotic like “il brasato” or “rĂ´ti Ă* la cocotte” or something similar.

Maybe next time I’ll do that and you’ll really think you got something special...

delights between you and FilthyJohn. Unbigly. I'm not saying that
because I have exotic taste in foods. I don't. I prefer seafood and
chicken/turkey to beouf, but I do eat beef products every few weeks or
at least once a month. I had a kosher hot dog last week.

I like swapping recipes with about anyone. Especially if it’s simple. John cooks some great stuff and takes his Cooking seriously. I really enjoy his recipes and he likes the ones I send him. To us, there’s more to life than politics.

enjoy his recipes and he likes the ones I send him. To us, there’s more

Easier than last nights dinner. Group of us were camping, annual get
together, normally with abalone and diving. But abalone closed this year.
We chipped in and one of the guys did a pit roast of a a 250# porker.
Wrapped in some fruit and banana leaves, 1.5cord of oak, and 18 hours.
Very tasty. Not quick, not cheap. $850 for porky. And about $1150 total.
