In all those years I have never heard anyone who rides a bike refer to it as "driving" them.Â* Makes me very suspicious that your claim to owning one is nothing but a figment of your imagination. Both terms are used, though ride is more common. When I started riding on my used Honda in the early 1960s, out in Kansas, I participated in some "rides" to Topeka, Wichita, Columbia, et cetera, but the guys would says "we are going to drive our bikes this weekend to Topeka...you wanna go with?"
