Well, I do have 43700 kilometers on the odometer (roughly 27000 miles) and it will be 5 years old at the end of next month. Plus I like the new dash much better. Decisions...decisions. Wife was working on me to trade in our Bayliner for a VR4...a full 18 feet long and wider. Comes with either a 200hp I/O or a 115 hp Mercury outboard. have to admit the 175BR squats a bit in the water with passengers in the rear jump seats and it's a bit more effort to get it up on plane compared to when there is only the two of us and our Springer Spaniel. Everyone told you that boat was underpowered. 135 hp for a 17.5 foot boat?? Not likely. We just need a bigger boat with more hp if we plan on carrying guests on a regular basis. And everyone suggested the next size up. You whined that it was too wide for your driveway. Remember? |

When we had the driveway paved almost 2 years ago, they brought in what they called a "full sized paving machine". Had to keep insisting that they not go over onto the neighbour's property. I had marked the property line as close to the inch as I could. The little guiding side wings did let a little asphalt spill over. |
